Moldovian couple Vitalik and Tania work as salesperson in Laleli.They left their 1 year old son with their parents to come to Turkey to save money working in Laleli.Most of the workers has no working permits.They have only Sunday to rest after a tiring week and they prefer to stay at home.Laleli became a textile district with the beginning of 1980s.The first customers were mostly from Arab and Balkan countries.Now the major buyers are from former Soviet Union  and east Europe countries.Official language is Russian and the currency is US Dollars.Making suitcase trade for years now Laleli has approx. 30000 firms in the middle of Istanbul.Hotels,coiffeurs,restaurants and cargo companies follow up textile firms to give better service to customers.
